Access to files

Hi there,

I’m no longer working as an English teacher but have opted to keep my blog live to help students with their revision and self-study.

My apologies if you have been trying to access files and have been denied. In the time between me setting up this blog and now, Google changed their access rights privileges to documents saved on Gdrive, meaning some of the files on the blog were rendered inaccessible. I’ve now shared access to anyone with a link, so you should be able to reach everything now. I’ll track on my side to see if there are any further access requests but don’t see this being an issue now.

To those preparing for their prelims after the Christmas break, all the very best of luck!

"There is neither happiness nor unhappiness in this world; there is only the comparison of one state with another. Only a man who has felt ultimate despair is capable of feeling ultimate bliss. It is necessary to have wished for death in order to know how good it is to live.....the sum of all human wisdom will be contained in these two words: Wait and Hope."
— Alexandre Dumas (The Count of Monte Cristo)
“They're certainly entitled to think that, and they're entitled to full respect for their opinions... but before I can live with other folks I've got to live with myself. The one thing that doesn't abide by majority rule is a person's conscience.”

Digital Study Guides

Hi guys,

I've set up this blogpage as a simple 'one-stop-shop' for study materials for all of my S4 and S5 pupils.

Please note, the guides are given to help support your own study, not replace it. It is vital that you attempt to complete past papers in timed, exam conditions if you are to be fully prepared for the final exams.

Please remember, my door is always open if you have any queries and I am more than happy to review any timed writing work you have completed at home.

I wish you all the very best come the final exams.
